How to Fill the Mahadbt Declaration Form

The declaration form is mandatory for the Mahadbt scholarship. Students need to upload it at the end of the application form. You cannot ignore its importance blindly.

A declaration form is essentially a written statement that verifies family-related information. The system uses this parental declaration form, which contains family details and scholarship information, to determine the student’s eligibility for the scheme.

Mostly, students do not know where to get it, which section to download it from, or what information is needed for it. Such a lack of knowledge leads to a delayed application.

Where to Download the Mahadbt Scholarship Declaration Form

You can download the declaration form from the Mahadbt website. Log in to the portal and visit the sidebar. Click on the Declaration Form button and choose your department and scheme name. It will appear for downloading; click on the Download button.

Understanding the Declaration Form

The declaration form is also known as an affidavit. The name could be different, but the purpose is the same. It is not like an online form you type. It has a fixed format and structure.

After downloading from the Mahadbt portal, print it so that you can fill it out by hand. Scan it and upload it again. All the data entered must be correct.

Details Filling Required in the Form

You can fill in the details in Hindi, Marathi, or English. You have to add the following information:

• Parent’s name entry (father or mother)
• Residential place
• Taluka information
• District details
• Total number of children in the family
• Separate count of male children
• Separate count of female children
• Student name entry
• College name (full name)
• Branch or course name
• Scholarship scheme name
• Number of family members who received benefits earlier
• Name entry requirement if benefits were availed
• Student signature requirement
• Parent or guardian signature requirement
• Date and place entry
• Hostel or college location usage

Uploading the Declaration Form on the MahaDBT Portal

You have filled out the form completely, but it needs to be scanned. Next, you have to upload it to the Mahadbt scholarship portal. Click on the menu option All Schemes, choose your department and scheme name, and click on the search button.

Then again, click on the apply button, and you get the option of uploading a file. The size of the file must be between 15 KB and 256 KB.

Some parents are doubtful about having three girls and boys, out of which two are boys, and one is a girl. Are all three eligible for the scholarship? Mahadbt scholarship rule is simple: more than 2 children cannot get the scholarship.

If you have three boy children and two have already taken scholarship benefits, then the third cannot get the benefits. If there are two boys and one girl, then the girl is eligible for a scholarship.
