MahaDBT Scholarship UID Problem Solution in 5 Minutes
Many students believe they will receive the scholarship amount directly into their bank accounts. However, the reality is different. Sometimes, the application form is accepted, but the scholarship amount is not credited.
At this stage, students receive a message stating that the payment is not proceeding because the UID is not active for DBT. This situation often becomes alarming for students.
In such cases, the application status shows as accepted, but the payment is stopped. This does not mean that the scholarship has been canceled. It indicates a technical issue in the payment process.
Meaning of “UID Never Enabled for DBT”
The relationship between UID and DBT is a fundamental part of the payment system. The message “UID Never Enabled for DBT” indicates a payment-related issue.
The objective of this message is to inform students that their application is correct, but does not yet meet the payment requirements. As a result, the scholarship payment is delayed in reaching the student’s bank account.
Students should not panic in this situation. They should understand the actual cause so they can take the correct corrective steps.
How to Check Bank Seeding Status
Open the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Click on “My Aadhaar” from the menu bar, then select the “Bank Seeding Status” option.
A new page opens where you must again click on “Bank Seeding Status.” Enter the Aadhaar number linked to your scholarship form. You will receive an OTP on the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar. Enter the OTP, type the captcha, and click on “Login.”
Here, you can check whether your bank seeding status is active or inactive. The linked bank name will also appear on the screen. If the status is inactive, you must visit your bank for activation.
If the status is showing active, you can ignore the MAHGOV message. The scholarship amount will be credited to your bank account.

What to Do If the Issue Persists
If the issue still persists, the next step is to file a complaint. The MahaDBT scholarship portal provides a complaint facility, allowing students to submit their issues easily.
In addition, students can seek help through helpline numbers. This allows direct communication, and in many cases, explaining the issue verbally is more effective than submitting a written complaint.
Students can also seek assistance from their educational institution. College staff are familiar with the scholarship process and can guide students accordingly.
